Just a couple more days until we begin our journey to Indio, CA! There is something magical about that moment when you enter the desert and drive through the giant windmills. You begin to enter a whole new world as you leave the metropolitan city of Los Angeles and watch it disappear behind the scenic mountain range.

To me, the Southern California desert has become synonymous with Coachella. The desertesque words Mojave, Sahara, Gobi, Yuma, and Sonora instantly bring an explosion of memories and feel good vibes from previous Coachellas.
