[ENG-SPN] Daydreams and walkers / Ensoñaciones y caminantes

Regardless of the fact that his numerous biographers ratify him and that there are cities, such as Soria, Segovia or Baeza, that also remind the visitor of him in this way, there is no doubt that that great poet -devoted, not to the Christ to be unlocked, but to the one who walked on the sea- was one of those lucky walkers, capable of appreciating, during his long walks, the subtleties of those other worlds, fragile as soap bubbles, that appear and disappear, suddenly, clouding the vision, in the same way that furrows that are left by the boats on the sea, which soon return to be absorbed by the undertow of the waves. Conclusion: if on your walk you are not able to appreciate the beauty that surrounds you, it is that the smoke blinds your eyes. Carpe Diem.

Independientemente de que lo ratifiquen sus numerosos biógrafos y haya ciudades, como Soria, Segovia o Baeza, que así se lo recuerdan también al visitante, no hay duda de que aquel grandísimo poeta -devoto, no del Cristo por desenclavar, sino del que anduvo sobre la mar- fue uno de aquellos afortunados caminantes, capaces de apreciar, durante sus prolongados paseos, las sutilezas de esos otros mundos, frágiles como pompas de jabón, que aparecen y desaparecen, súbitamente, nublando la visión, de la misma manera que los surcos que van dejando los barcos sobre la mar, que no tardan en volver a ser absorbidos por la resaca del oleaje. Conclusión: si en tu paseo no eres capaz de apreciar la belleza que te rodea, es que el humo ciega tus ojos. Carpe Diem.
