Mount Rainier from over 100 miles away in August, Ninety degree heat!

I took this picture this morning on a business trip! It was gorgeous to see Rainier from so far away due to nice clear weather far away. It was a high of 90 from where the picture was taken, but then Rainier is majestic with all her snow. The picture does not due the mountain justice. I love that I get to travel for work to see things like this!IMG_4598.JPG

    That's awesome. It's pretty sweet you get to stop and enjoy the view. Reminds me of aspen. How the mountain just appears out of nowhere when you are traveling there from Denver. Thanks for sharing. :)

    I love Aspen, typically I ski or board Snowmass when I am there.

        I see a lot of digital zoom in there - but you have to use whatever you have!

        I once saw Shasta from about 150 miles away. Very clear day and that volcano is YUGE!
