Light up your life

in #photography7 years ago

Here is a macro shot I captured using my Canon 80D camera, using a 75 -300 mm lens. The shot is of a lamp post at night. What I found really cool about this shot is the accidental reflection that occurred inside the lamp post.

As you can see with the bulb, because the flash and lamp post were so bright, yet the surrounding area was pitch black, the light refracted inside the glass of the lamp. This caused the image to look as if there are two bulbs inside, yet there was only one.

It's really cool how your surrounding and particular angles can lend themselves to multidimensional photography. Definitely one of the cooler night shots that I've taken.

Thanks and I hope you enjoyed. I look forward to seeing you guys' art!

I remember in my old house we had a gas light lamp which really looks like this. Now the same design transform into a light electric lamp which is very amazing to see.

Amazing pic, love the deep color

Precisely why photography is an art.

I 100% agree. It is not just taking photos, but also an art form. Anyone can walk outside and take a photo, but actually doing your best to twll a story with your photos, thats where the real art form comes into play.

I see those two light bulbs there. I can't express how I like this simple yet captivating photo. Kudos to your cool night shots :)
