My Mojo is back

in #photography7 years ago

As a photographer, you go through times that ever creative bone in your body DIES! You are drained and unable to see anything that makes you smile! It is SOOOO Frustrating at times!

Thankfully, I got that mojo back with my session title, "Hey, It's Hannah!"

Having a friend that is not only fun to hang out with, but beautiful is a MAJOR PLUS! We spent about thirty minutes shooting this session, and with each photo, I felt the energy flow back through my body! I was excited, thrilled, and kept trying new things.

Let me walk you through a few of them.

As a Burton Fan, I love doing shots that others may not find interesting, but then trying to find something about4 them that make them pop! Like the photo above this paragraph. I went for a moody type, dark and mysterious, and almost haunting. My model is almost hidden in the shadow, which makes you really look for her-which is something I like! I don't want people just to see my Photos-I want them to look!

I call this one, "Look for a New Angle".

I usually don't shoot photos like this, mainly because most of the time you want to see their faces. With this photo, I decided to show the "New angle" that would make it stand out! And boy, did it ever!

I think she should model shoes.....

I absolutely LOVE Black and White photos. They force you to look right at your subject, and not let your eyes get distracted by colors or objects. You are met with a BAM, then you go, WOW! A double bam I guess.

And, last but not least, my "Mona Lisa!"

I have no idea why I like this one above the rest, but something about it just sticks with me! The light, the look, the pose-everything just sticks with me! The smile-it is a smile, right?-just captivates me, and I get lost in the reality of what the photo is telling me-"Beauty can be found in the tiny things."

So what do you think? Leave a comment below with your favorite photo and why!

Till next time!

Awesome! I love the boots photo, and you are right, the last one is fantastic. Great stuff. Glad to hear you are getting back into your groove.

I love this! I understand about losing your mojo, I felt that with my writing for years and recently got it back after joining Steem. I'm so glad you got yours back, these photos are gorgeous! I really love the shadowy one, but the last one with the window is especially breathtaking. Great job!
