An Open Book!

While trying to figure out what i could take pictures of today, the idea popped in my head. Find an old book and take some pictures of it. So thats what i did. In this series of photos the book is open. Making the black words on the cream colored pages stand out.

While walking around outside trying to find places to put my old book that i found, i saw a white daisy, by its self. And right then and there i could see the photo being takin. This photo was hard to edit. I was unsure of what to do with it. I felt llike it looked good in all the edits i put on it. But i finally landed on this edit. I felt that the white and yellow daisy stood out on the cream colored pages of the open book!

Now i was inspired. I then tried standing back gettiing the full affect of whole scene in which the book sat. On a metal table. Sitting next to the book, a teacup, which i meticulously placed. Making the photo feel warm, and with a spring/summer vibe!

After both those photos turned out well i decided to change it up and loose the daisy.

I got the inspration for this photo, of a open book on a rusty metal chair. From the feeling of wanting to be reading. Outside, with the gental breeze. The sounds of nature, the bees gather nectar from the flowers, the sound of the birds singing their sweet melody. The feeling of being ungulfed in a book. Outside in the shade.

Now that i had tried a few different fun things with the book i wanted to try something simple. So noticing the green grass i decided too drop right there open the book and take a picture. I then added a black and white filter. I wanted the photo to seem like you could fall into the story. Fall into book world.

After i took photos of the book open i tried taking some photos of the book closed which will be next post. Hope you enjoyed reading about my journey with a open book. I would love your feedback.
