Hiking: Saint Croix USVI: Isaacs Bay

I’ll be off to Florida tomorrow to meet up with my mom and some friends to then road trip to New Orleans for the Jazz fest. As excited as I am, I am honestly already missing my time in the water next week. So when I woke up this morning I decided it was in my best I treat to hike down to one of my favorite snorkel spots.

Even though it’s been especially windy today and I knew it would be a little rough once I go into the water I figured it was at least worth a shot. Plus, the landscapes out on this particular hike mirror the beauty found within the water.

As I expected it was a bit rough and the water was very stirred up compared to the weekend so most of the shots I attempted underwater today did not turn out in the quality I would have liked.

On the bright side, it was nice to see some of the flowers I’m bloom again along my hike. The last week and a half we have gotten some much needed rain but just before that we had gone almost six weeks without a drop and it had become visibly noticeable.
