THE 7 MOST BEAUTIFUL ISLANDS OF FRANCE
Ever dreamed of a beautiful French island? I will show you 7 islands below and also give you some information.
1. Corsica
One of the biggest differences with the rest of France is the language. In Corsica, they speak Corsican, while French is the official language. The Corsican has more Italian than French influences. Corsica is located in the Mediterranean Sea about 170 kilometers south of France and the total area of Corsica is 8680 km². The 1000 km long coast of Corsica is a cluster of cliffs, beautiful bays and sunlit beaches. The azure Mediterranean sea around Corsica is crystal clear. Corsica mainly has a Mediterranean climate with warm dry summers and mild winters. The rain falls mainly in spring and autumn and in winter and the average annual temperature is about 20 degrees.
2. Ile de Bréhat
Ten minutes by boat from the Breton north coast, just above Paimpol, lies Bréhat, an archipelago of one large island and more than 90 smaller rocky islands. Their coasts are whimsical, but the vegetation is paradise, due to the warm Gulf Stream of the Atlantic Ocean. Here is no motorized traffic, everything is done by bike or on foot. The island consists of two main islands and is 3.5 kilometers long and 1.5 kilometers wide.
3. Archipel des glénan
There are seven islands around an inner sea with crystal clear water, white sandy beaches. Glénan is famous for its paradise beaches, but also for its international diving school and the world-famous Center Nautique. It just looks like the islands of the Caribbean and yet the islands of Glénan lie in the cool waters of the Gulf of Gascony. By flood many of the islands do not matter much more than rocks, but at eb they are admired in all their beauty.
4. Houat & Hoëdic
Close to Belle-Ile-en-Mer are Houat and Hoëdic, these are two small islands with spectacular sandy beaches and crystal clear waters. You will find picturesque harbors and rugged dune landscapes here.
Houat:
This island has beautiful golden sandy beaches, is surrounded by turquoise blue water and offers a beautiful landscape.
Hoëdic:
This island is both vulnerable and alive, sophisticated and wild, tender and natural.
5. Porquerolles
On the other side of France, in the warm Mediterranean, there are Porquerolles and Port-Cros. Islands with densely populated interior and a brown red rocky coast. The most beautiful on Porquerolles are the harsh white sandy beaches where the shallow water is given its azure color. In summer it is a favorite site for motor yachts and sailboats (on the water) and sunbreakers (on the beach). However, the beach is covered with tons of waste.
6. la Martinique
Martinique is an island and a French sea department in the Caribbean Sea, it is about 700 kilometers southeast of the Dominican Republic. (I love this Island the most). Martinique is often hilly and covered with large pieces of tropical forest. The coastline usually consists of black sandy beaches and in the south from white sandy beaches. The island has a tropical climate, with temperatures around 25 to 30 degrees throughout the year! Important to know is that french is the official language in Martinique. In addition, Creole is spoken on a small scale.
7. Port-Cros
The island has a number of about 60 permanent residents, so that is not much. The mountainous Port-Cros has been a protected nature reserve since 1963. Only one narrow strip of the island is built. The beaches are only accessible with a few good hiking shoes. The dry interior is densely populated with bushes and trees and contains 30 km of hiking trails. There are two beaches, Le Palud in the North and Plage du Sud in the Southwest.
I think these are beautiful islands and I would like to visit them once myself. Please follow and upvote me @ilonavnijnatten 🤗 thankyou all and have a great day!

Didn't realize there were that many French islands. There's also a little island in Paris called the Île Saint-Louis. Not picturesque like the islands you mention, but has the most incredible atmosphere, and this insanely good ice cream that's only sold on that island called Bertillon. I remember it like it was yesterday....Followed ya btw
