Hey!
Here are the photos I promised of the bullfinches I shot last Saturday!
You can browse through all of them on IPFS.
When I first saw one of them, I was a bit too anxious to shoot, and completely forgot to change the settings and got a bunch of over exposed photos. I had previously been testing how badly the ISO values can affect a shot. Here's one good example of how!
Better shots below:

I had hoped I would have more time to tell about what's been going on, but I will have to postpone this. I have an early wake and a busy morning tomorrow.
Oh and btw. I got the lens. It weighs a ton! Good thing I am going to the gym. I'll tell you about the lens more after I've put it through its paces.
See ya later!
@gamer00,
Wow these photography are pretty sharp and high in quality! Nice captures of the nature around!
Cheers~
Hi gamer. You are busy, busy these days and it is good to see.Always look forward to your posts.
I cannot get over how chubby those birds are there LOL!!!
Great bird photos! @Keithboone has a challenge and if you use the #featheredfriday tag your great bird photos may get seen by even more bird lovers! I can't wait to see what you find with that new lens!
I'll try. The Fridays can be quite hectic.
My new lens isn't really one you'd want to use to shoot birds with. It's a 12-24mm ultra-wide lens, that can be used for real-estate and landscape photography.
If I manage to get a good income with that lens, I will consider getting myself a good long-range lens. Those ones are really expensive so I don't think I can invest in one yet. I will keep shooting with my old 75-300mm kit-lens for now.
Whatever you are using is great! And the post does not have to be made on Friday..I often post mine on Thursday or on the weekend.
This is beautiful and lovely to see thanks for sharing these incredible shots
Sweet looking. Bird can almost pass for a peach.... :-)
How good those shots of different angles. It looks spongy. Should it be a way to keep your body warm?
Great photos, can see that your bullfinch turned out better below after reconfiguration!
Your photo looks amazingly special and of high quality also, and this bird is a special breed of bird that looks colorful and beautiful @gamer00
Beautiful photography of very cute birds .
