5 ANGLE TECHNIQUES IN PHOTOGRAPHY

in #photography8 years ago

IN THIS POST, I WILL BRIEFLY DISCUSS THE GOOD AND CORRECT TECHNIQUES OF PHOTO TAKING.AS FAR AS I KNOW, THERE ARE FIVE GOOD ANGLES OF PHOTO TAKING AND YOU MUST KNOW THAT THE ANGLE OF PHOTO TAKING WILL DETERMINE WHETHER THE PHOTO WILL BE INTERESTING OR NOT.PHOTO WILL EITHER DELIVER A MESSAGE OR WEAKEN THE MESSAGE. THEREFORE, KNOWING DIFFERENT ANGLES IN PHOTOGRAPHY IS OF A GREAT IMPORTANCE.

1. EYE VIEW

view refers to the angle of photo taking which is parallel with the object’s eyes. The camera as well as the lense are parallel with the object to be captured. This angle is normally used to take a photo of humans and, ocassionally, used in photographic travels.

2. LOW ANGLE

Low angle refers to the angle of photo taking that is lower than the object. This angle gives the impression of luxury, power, or magnificance. The photographer uses this angle to take a picture of tall buildings to give the impression of resplendence.

3. HIGH ANGLE

High angle refers to the angle of photo taking from above the object. By takin photos from high angle, we may insert supporting elements that will be captured into the frame. This photo taking angle will leave an impression of smallness of the object. The utilization of photo taking from high angle will result in distinctive photos.

4. BIRD EYE

By using this angle, as photographers, we will be able to give the impression of vastness in the photos that we take.

5. FROG EYE

In the frog-eye angle, the position of the camera is parallel with the ground. This angle is commonly used for taking the photos of objects whose position is on the ground. As a photographer, even I myself find it overwhelming to take photos from this angle. It is easier to take this angle using a camera that has the ability of revolving the LCD, such as Canon 70D, Nikon D750, etc.
