Gallery Walls
I've been decorating my walls with the first ever pictures I have had printed of my images and I'm pretty excited. I've been doing photography on and off over ten years, more seriously for the past two, as it happens to kind of be my job right now. I've never felt like I am a photographer because I don't actually do it for anyone, I just post images I like on my blog. Having some of my favourite images printed and put up on my walls makes it actually feel like I've taken a few really good shots. A couple weeks ago I spend the day selecting a wide variety of shots to be printed and today they finally arrived. I was initially a bit concerned with my choice of glossy finish, but I think they look pretty great, neither of the walls gets straight sunlight so there is no crazy flair on the images.
I did one wall of black and white photographs, leaving space for more to be added later, and another with coloured imaged. The coloured ones were a bit of a challenge to organise to look coherent and I'm not complete happy with it, but it is what it is. I'll find some pictures later and maybe change the order to look better. But at least I now have a good variety of my photographs in a tangible form and to be showed to people who come over.
The following pictures are a pretty good representation of what kind of photography I like to do and best represents me. They are also a good view of the past two years in my life, from my travels, self portrait work and working on what I am passionate about. I'll give you a short description of all the pictures, but they are actually more for myself, to keep a log I can come back to if I ever forget where something was taken. I forgot I should have written that behind the images before I taped them onto the walls...

Hey, I first saw that on Whaleshares. Your photo-walls are awesome!
Thank you Ruth! (is that even your name or does it come from the word ruthless?) :D
Ahahaha! I am Ruth online, in the real world I come by the name Dora 😉
Now that (especially the B&W) is one aesthetic wall, god damn I like that! So good!
Why thank you very much! I do think the B&W turned out pretty well and goes with my interior style, the colourful side is pretty wild for me :P
They look really awesome <3 you're a very talented photographer, Eve :)
PS: notice the are ;) You are a photographer by talent, I would say. As simple as that, really.
Aww thank you! I do have some opinions regarding being a photographer, but I’ll save that to a post because it’s going to be a long one 😝
I'm curious to read it ;) Really. I'm interested to see what you think on this. It's interesting to see how people perceive themselves, 'cause to me, you seem pretty much a photographer, you know? Both because you're good at what you do and because you take it so seriously, you stick to it and all that. Hell's sake, you're living off it. But maybe you don't see it that way at all....and it's fascinating.
Well damn it, now I really have to write it because I’ve been teasing you with the subject 😂 Soon, I promise!
Good. 😎🤣

I don't want to distract from your presentation. I am a big fan of photography and I occasionally try to take photos of situations or images which cause questions. Questions which I can't or don't want to entirely answer. For example, this one will arouse a couple of questions., But Honestly I don't know. I will say that the picture was taken in Vladivostok park while I was studying Russian at the Univ. a couple of years ago. As to what it represents, I leave that up to you.
