Finikounda - Greece, what an amazing beach!
Continuing my trip, about 10 km to the east of Methoni there is a small fishing village with the name Finikounda, the place is known for its magnificent beach and that's the sole reason to visit the place, it definitely held up to its name. Pleasant surprise was the number of art shops for souvenirs as some of them had hand made jewelry. I have to say that i haven't enjoyed a swim like this for quite some time! 
After that we ate at a local tavern with fresh fish, kinda average in general for my taste buds but right next to the beach. On the next part we will explore the castle of Methoni... stay tuned :)
