50 mil is a very sweet lens for canon (your stm) or nikon as well. It is so bokeh friendly that the portraits pop out very well and creamy. It is great for street photography as well, even one cam take stunning macro by simply reversing the lens (lens reversal ring may ease the effort). Enjoy your 50mm to the fullest. Take a one lens all month challenge to get creative pictures. Christmas.
