Shipwrecks
The Skeleton Coast of Namibia got its name for a reason. Several boats over the past few hundred years end up wrecked against the desert coast of this African nation. Cold antarctic waters hit against the heat of the desert coast causing a dense fog that disorients even the best naval captains. The result is a beautiful yet eerie sight that creates some stunning pictures. Over time winds from the interior push sand towards the ocean front engulfing the boats completely in the deserts of Namibia. Here are some highlights from my trip
