Today saw the photo and immediately it seemed to me very strange. Even without reading the article, it seemed to me that this can not be. It turns out - it can!

And it happened in April 1975. The airline Pan Am organized a rescue of orphans from Vietnam. Pan Am has transported children in the United States, Australia, France and Canada. 3,300 children have been saved! The youngest children were placed in the box and fastened to the seats of the aircraft.

It was Operation Babylift.
