Discussion is a communication interaction between two or more people / groups. Usually communication between them / group in the form of one science or basic knowledge that will ultimately provide a sense of good and true understanding. Discussions can be anything that was originally called a topic. It is from this topic that discussion develops and discusses which will ultimately lead to an understanding of the topic.
