View of Putian China from atop of the World

in #photography8 years ago

So my next venture in China was to Putian. After the heat in Yangzhou, I was hoping that things would cool down in Putian. Putian is in a mountain area and is very close to the Ocean, so I figured that would bring in cooler air. Well, I was wrong, maybe in the US, but not in China.

Because of my wife's business trip, we were to spend a good amount of time in Putian. Also, her family mostly lived there, so it was also family time for us.

I got out a good amount of times, and this next phase of posts will be from Putain.

Our first morning, I open the curtains of our hotel room, and there is enormous about of life to see in Putian. These photos were from our hotel room I believe twenty-five stories up. So I was able to slap on the 100mm lens and get these shots.

Being that it was scorchingly hot out, it was also very hazy. Thank god of the de-haze tool in Lightroom. It allowed me to make these images work.

This photo I got early one morning as it seemed the work day was starting. Not sure what the event was for but this was the only day in the week and a half that we were in this hotel that I saw this lineup.

This area was the Putian government building and the police department. Not that I ever saw that many police in the area, but this was their headquarters.

The rest of these were just different framings that I was able to get from that hotel window view.

One of the more interesting things that I was able to take from this visit to Putian is that like the rest of China, it's growing on the upward. More on that in another post. But you can see that there are cranes and new building being developed. I found that to be in many of the areas I had visited. Even what you would think were going to be small villages, there was the new development of skyscrapers.

so many nice pics
one suggestion is that you could translate it into Chinese,so that more Chinese could read it later

That's interesting you say that. My wife is Chinese and has offered to do that for my future post. I think I will have to consider that for the future posts. You think I will get more upvote and views if I did that?

It was very interesting. All this was from one window view. Thanks for enjoying.

yes i see ! and interesting to see the building of this hotel from the side you !

Seems you do a lot of travelling yourself too :) A nice person to follow. Cheers mate!

Cheers, I have just in life started to really start the travel bug. I think next I will do something in my own area that I haven't seen before. You sometimes forget that just hours away, are amazing places. Travel on!!!

Exactly, people tend to travel far to see other places when there is so much beauty around us :)
