BLACK AND WHITE FOR TRAVEL.
You must have heard that the best time to take photos is early in the morning after sunrise and a couple hours before sunset. At other times, the sun may cast too harsh of a shadow on your subjects and at other times may cause the colors to be faded. It can appear so much more colourful when travelling outside your home country. This may be because some places and people are so much more vivid than where you live. Yet, it could be because when you travel you are stepping outside your familiar surroundings.Black and white photography eliminates certain detail (the colour). Some people say that only pessimists see the world in black and white. But when it comes to photography, the monochrome style can be a beautiful way to represent places and people with simplicity, without being confused by a heavy amount of different and contrasting colours, can use different photography techniques to convey your travel experience in monochrome. Doing this can add more meaning and more intrigue to help hold your audience. Last but not least, I feel that black and white photos can help convey a certain “atmosphere” or “emotion” of the scene.
