Other than the spammer did you get help with making a small picture link to a larger one? Here is one way to do it.

The code above can be tricky, https://steemitimages.com/200x200/ make your image smaller. - -<a href="https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmZuQy6ZTLvVTREw9pHGoc1t2iBEXMRUv7vmTGkcQ9zKzc/IMG_3913liquid.jpg"> this is the link to the larger picture, - - <img src=" make the image linkable.

Yup, thanks for the input, I've been playing with different sizing and links for the last 8 hours or so, appreciate the comment. Now if I could force the picture itself to be on the thumbnail without moving it to the top, hmmm

You could make a really small picture and try it that way.
I think but am not sure it uses the full size picture for the thumbnail, or has its own autosize thing for thumbnails. (256X512 size) I just used 12X12 to make it real small you can even use 2x2 and pretend it is a period.

Haha, I like your idea of 2x2, but for now I just incorporated small version into a text, had a hard time with placement, I dunno if I was making some syntax errors, or what? when I would copy paste your code for example, it would work, but then when I tried to make my own, it would behave weird, but it works now, it's a miracle :) I've been out of coding for a long time, last time I've done something like that, they were introducing HTML 2, so...
Once again, thanks for the insight.

Let me know if you need any more help, I work with a group of people that try to help, @newbieresteemday, kind of as a member at large, but then again we all are just a loosely knit group of people helping people in different ways.
