My Experience in Norway: my photos of grunnlovsdag in Arendal

Today, the 17th of May, Norwegian people are celebrating their National Day.
Syttende mai, that means simply 17th may, is really important for Norway!
I have been in Arendal since 10 o'clock in the morning: I saw the parade made by children, and some of them played folk music. Everyone, child or elderly were dressed with their BUNAD, the traditional costume.
They are adorably "crazy" this day, because they start drinking at 9 o'clock in the morning until the end of the day. Champagne, other kind of wine, beer, and anything else.

Me and my friend were hosted for a brunch at the house of two very nice men and we celebrated with them and other friends. We eat their traditional food, and I don't know how I can really explain my feelings.
The atmosphere was beautiful, exciting and I even cried.
I'm really happy to have shared with them this important day!!!!
