"हर हर महादेव"

Dear steemians!
Last year I got the chance of a special type of worship called ""Rudrabhishek"" In the hindi month of "Shrawan"(English month approx. July/August).This worship is dedicated to Lord ""Shiva"".
The above structure in image is called "Shiva Linga".It was made of clay,and the shape was given by "Pandit Ji"(as in church "Father")Some decoration with different colors was done by me.Litres of milk was being donated upon it by the help of small copper nozzle.It took more than 2 hrs to complete this worship.It is planned to organize again it in upcomming "Shrawan" month.I would like to share its photos again with you.

प्यारे दोस्तों!
पिछले साल की तरह इस साल भी सावन के पवित्र महीने में हमारे घर पर" भगवान शिव "की बिशेष पूजा का आयोजन होगा,जिसे "रूद्राभिषेक " के नाम से जाना जाता है|
हिन्दी का महीना सावन संभवत: 28 जुलाई से प्रारम्भ होने जा रहा है,पुराणों में सावन के महीने को काफी सबसे पावन माह कहा गया है|
रूद्राभिषेक हेतु" शिव लिंग" का निर्माण हमारे पंडित जी के हाथों से हुआ और इसे रंगों और फूल पत्तियों से हमने सजाया,फिर इस पर गाय के दूध से लगभग 2 घण्टे तक अभिषेक किया गया|
इस वर्ष भी हमारे घर पर इसका आयोजन होना है,मैं पुन: इसकी और तस्वीरें आप सब लोगों को दिखाउंगा|
