O deer! Nature Photography

Still as the forest
one glance splits the morning hush
then she's gone like mist

I captured this moment up north in Canada — a mama deer, calm and graceful, walking behind her baby through the forest.
She was searching for food, quietly offering protection. Then she saw me. She looked. Gave me an OK to shoot, And just like that, she moved on.

Just like life.
It passes by so quickly.
