I put a bicycle wheel on a stool
then launched it into space
Or maybe I just looked at it sideways
and let my brain do the rest
Art is like that
You twist one thing
light it weird
frame it wrong
and suddenly it’s a portal
I took this photo in a museum, The piece belongs to Marcel Duchamp. The godfather of flipping meaning on its head and reminding us that context is everything.

Titled "Bicycle Wheel." Created in 1913, this piece is recognized as Duchamp's first "readymade," a term he used to describe ordinary manufactured objects designated as art. The original 1913 version was lost, but Duchamp recreated it in 1951.

This one's called “Ircle”
Half object, half echo
all curiosity
