RE: A night of songs and praises for God

in #photography7 years ago

I am originally from Northwest region of Iran town named Urumiyeh. I remember about 20 years ago the image of Mary the virgin appeared on the actual church that was named after her. This caused an uprising in that region because you had Muslims converting by masses. So the government came in and painted over it. She then reappeared a day later and it cause more stirrup. So they showed up a second time and told the media that this was a setup by the minority Assyrian Christians living in that city to use this as propaganda which was utterly false. Long story short she appeared again and the third time I remember clearly they starting burning tires against the wall and after that she didn't reappear. A few people converted and had to practice in secret because converting to Christianity is punishable by death in that country. Just thought to share my little story. Thanks for the post.
