The fun part about these photos, is that we are inside of a shopping center, the largest shopping center in the United States the locals would have you know.

In the heart of San Antonio, Texas, there is what we call a river walk. On this river walk is a boat tour of the city. It started to downpour while we were on the river so we tucked ourselves under one of the many bridges and waited it out. I was able to capture a few really great photos like these during this ordeal, so I was very thankful. :)

I just love that place. The part that amazed me what that you could see part of the Alamo under the street! Have they started with the construction yet?

There is construction going in many spots, but they have essentially cleaned up the whole river tour. Very few spots have any "ugly" construction going. I am with you though, I loved the boat tour and the buss tour. We started at the Alamo and went through where the soldiers were held up. So small in comparison to the thoughts when reading the story. Absolutely worth the trip. :)

I know. It is strange to see it so small compared to the movies. haha. We were stunned at how small the distance was from Washington-On-The-Brazos to Gonzales to Goliad to the Alamo to San Jacinto. You would think they were huge distances away, but they really aren't at all. Such a big state, but so small an area where major history happened. Dang, I miss Texas.
