Beautiful Crescent Lake in Olympic National Park in WA in Pacific Northwest
Went on a road tour of Olympic National Park last Saturday. One of the few days with no rain in the area which can get up to 260 inches of rainfall a year. This beautiful lake was one of the stops. Over 600 feet deep this lake has the rough shape of a crescent moon, hence the name I guess. The cost of the trip - 2 mosquito bites.
A view through the trees from the other end of the lake.
And here is what the sun looked like in the late evening, being held up by a tree branch, only it was a deep orange color...must have saturated my cheap digital camera in my phone.
