A few photos from holiday in Poland, and your opinion on caged animals
Hi everyone, it's Caesar again :D
This time I thought about posting a few photos from holiday back in Poland at my girlfriend's hometown where we are going again this year, which is a very beautiful place, right by the seashore. In addition to that, my girl prepared some photos of our trip to the zoo. I also wanted to know what's your opinion on caged animals? I'll write my thoughts below.
Sunset at the beach, with no people, and just fresh air
Whole place apart from summer holiday is very quiet and empty, but it's also very beautiful place to visit, and a good spot to relax
One of the boats sailing the sea. Well, it's not now
This, ladies and gentlemen is a legendary Ustka's bridge connecting West and East sides of the town. This became so popular, so the legend spread, people came to this place just to stand and record it opening and closing for 12 minutes just to try to record it's mightiness.
Even forests near this place are beautiful, just take a look at the lake in one of forests surrounding Ustka
And there we go with animals! This was on a trip to the zoo, also in Poland
Just look at those cute monkeys, aren't they cute? Come on don't say no
Sleepy parrot, seems like no one's gonna listen to swear words repeated by this one
Yet this one seems like it had too much coffee, sneaking on people giving them scares
And this is perfect example of humanity being told what to do by government. They set walls, yet those guys would no problem climb up those walls they put up to restrict them from their rights. You don't believe me, just take a closer look, they are even larger than those! Someone even left a ladder on a right to help them escape.
Big cats! Cute as hell
But some of them don't like being photographed
And some just sleep, look at that big, cute, sleepy kitten
Llamas
More llamas (might be obsession, although I have already contacted my girlfriend psychologist)
Our brothers waiting for the escape chance. Can you believe they ain't got even Wi-Fi ?
Veeeeeery sleepy king of the jungle
And a bit confused Owl
Hawk
Oh dear...
And a fennec! Cutest of em all, but they wouldn't let me take one home... why the hell do they need 7 of them, one wouldn't make a difference.
So that would be it guys, to be honest I don't enjoy the view of animals in cages. Kind of areas where animals would wander freely and no one would bother them would be perfect, a closed, off-limits area where viewers wouldn't need to watch these wee poor souls caged. People visit these places every day, especially with their kids to show them "little animals" but that puts them in a lot of stress to be honest. Imagine yourself being caged, visited by thousands every day to look at you, laugh, scream and swear, sometimes throw something for 12 hours a day for your whole life, rolling in your own crap in the same spot every day.
We show up, destroy their homes, cut down forests, and their natural living environment just for some kind of our own benefit, calling ourselves "gods" like some of us or "at the top of food chain" - saying that we do have right to do that, and we will, until one day somebody shows up destroying our lives and homes like we did to them. For me it's not different than animal abuse.
Turning them completely upside down.
Let me know what do you guys think about caged animals in comments below, open discussion, argue, share thoughts, just be nice to each other and don't insult, everyone has his own opinion :)
