One of the most beautiful part of the Philippines is the Benguet mountain areas. One of it's town, Kibungan, is popularly known as the "Switzerland of Benguet" because of it's pine tree(alps) and rocky mountain.  Another thing you'll find in this area is a lot of beautiful rivers and streams.

About the Shot

This shot was taken at Mt. Tagpaya as part of the Kibungan Hiking Circuit, which includes Mt. Oten and Mt. Tagpew.  Bracing the coldness in the summit area,  My friend and I took out our headlamps and I instructed him to sit at the rocky part of the summit. My camera instantly run out of juice due to coldness but luckily I had my gopro with me.  Unknown to most people, gopro cameras are highly capable of doing night photography due to it's Night Photo option, of course with the use of a good quality tripod. 

This is a 20sec shutter at ISO 800 and an aperture of f2.8(fixed for gopros). The light source was a lamp point downwards in his direction. 

Other settings: White Balance - Native | Color Profile - Flat | Color graded in post using Adobe Lightroom.
