Exposing The Real Beauty OF Pakistan!!! (Part 2-Bahawalpur)-MyPictureDay SubmissionsteemCreated with Sketch.

in #photography7 years ago (edited)

This all started from one of the comments on my posts, “Wow! this looks EPIC!!! I never really had Pakistan on the travel map, but I wonder why!”

I came to know from this that People don't know how beautiful Pakistan is, so I came up with this idea of using this wonderful platform “Steemit” for the exposure of the beauty of my beloved Pakistan and its people to the rest of the world.

So I decided to team up with my friends and capture numerous photos which depict the beauty of Pakistan and share this collection with all the friends on Steemit. Hence, we tried to arrange that collection in a certain pattern, so that people do not lose interest while checking the post. At last, we came up with this Idea of making multiple parts in which each part covers a particular area. This is part 2.

Bahawalpur (بہاولپور‎‎) is another Big and Beautiful city of the Punjab province, It was a princely state and famous for the Palaces (Mahals). Multiple Nawabs have ruled over it. It is the 12th Largest city in Pakistan. It lies near the ancient Derawar Fort in the Cholistan Desert near the border with India. We visited this beautiful city and captured some beautiful shots with DSLR(Canon 60d).

  • Noor Mahal (Noor Palace)
The Noor Mahal is a famous palace which was built in 1872. It is famous because of its beautiful architecture which presents wonderful views to the viewers from outside as well as inside.

  • Gulzar Mahal
It is another famous palace of Bahawalpur. It contains European influences just like Noor Mahal.

  • Jamia Masjid Al-Sadiq
This beautiful mosque was built just before the independence of Pakistan lies in the center of main bazaar area.

Recap:
In the previous post Exposing The Real Beauty OF Pakistan!!! (Part 1-Lahore), I displayed some amazing places of Lahore (the capital city of the Punjab province) famous because of the historic mosques, shrines, and tombs.

  • Badshahi Mosque
  • Wazir Khan Mosque
  • Mosque of Mariyam Zamani Begum (Begum Shahi Mosque)
  • Minar-e-Pakistan
  • Lahore Fort
  • Delhi Gate
  • Tomb of Jahangir

Need your reviews and precious comments so that next part should be improved and amended before posting.

This is awesome! Unfortunately due to my ignorance, I never knew that Pakistan was so green.. I have always been told that it was very arid. Thank you for sharing!
