Stoppschild in der Affenstadt / Stop sign in the monkey town
Der treue Leser weiß aus meinem letzten Artikel, wie normale Stoppschilder in Thailand aussehen. Das heutige Stoppschild befindet sich in der thailändischen Stadt Lopburi.
Die Stadt Lopburi liegt nördlich von Bangkok. Sie wird auch als Affenstadt bezeichnet. Das liegt nicht nur daran, dass es hier einen Affentempel gibt, sondern dass Affen überall im Gebiet um die Tempel herumlaufen und von den Besuchern gefüttert werden.
The loyal reader knows from my last article what normal stop signs in Thailand look like. Today's stop sign is located in the Thai city of Lopburi.
The city of Lopburi is north of Bangkok. It is also known as a monkey town. This is not only because there is a monkey temple here, but also because monkeys walk around the temples all over the area and are fed by the visitors.
