Shimul flower

In the month of Falgun, the red silk cotton (Shimul) trees transform into a vibrant display of red flowers. These trees have a unique beauty, as the flowers bloom in red directly from the branches. However, the flowers grow high up, making them difficult to reach. To pick these flowers, one has to climb the tree carefully, which is why the flowers are not collected in large quantities.

The Shimul tree seen here has been planted in an open rural environment. It is a very old tree, and now it has started blooming again. In such a place, only one Shimul tree has been planted, and there is no other activity around it. The surroundings are filled with greenery, and this single red tree enhances the beauty of the entire area.
