missing interacting with these guys already
It has only been a month since I left the frozen Crystal desert, also known as, Antarctica and I must say that I do miss waking up on the ship and heading to the bridge to search for wildlife. My favourite animals to spot are of course the Orca - no big surprise there but they can be the most difficult to spot at times, as they move quickly and can quite easily appear and disappear without notice. It is always good to have your head on a swivel and never break visual with them once you locate a pod of them. Otherwise, it can be almost impossible to re-locate them, which can seriously ruin your day and your colleagues as well.
Hence, I seem to be spending my days of late flicking through hundreds of photos I took over the 5 months of "working" and exploring this remote and stunning part of the world. So I hope you are all prepared for countless photos from Antarctica with small little blurbs about the moment and moments leading up to the photo...
