My PhotoVisions #40 - The magic of Blue Hour - The Gallery
Welcome Steemians!
Today in "My PhotoVisions" serie - selection of my favorite shots of blue hour time. I want to show You some magic which is happening after the sun goes down the horizon, or still didn't show up after night time...
Some magic of light, which has amazing blue tones, making the surrounding world looks totally different. Blue color dominate, it desaturates all other colours, gives them more cold tones in the same time, making the light very soft, which is quite opposite to day light or sunset light.
Each photo with short comment below.
Just enjoy the gallery and have a great weekend!

Last outdoor shooting around midnight time, Trondheimsfjorden near Ranheim, long exposure shot using ND1000 filter. June 2018. The essence of blue hour by the fiord coast.
<><><><><><><><><><><><><>
One more from last visit by the Trondheimsfjorden. View towards the shore line, long exposure with ND1000. It was last photo that night...
<><><><><><><><><><><><><>
The giants from Scottish Highlands - John o'Groats and rock formations called Stacks of Duncansby, far far north of the Brittish Island. Scottish photo workshops from this year.
<><><><><><><><><><><><><>
Another shot from John o'Groats - the view towards lighthouse and northern seas. Such amazing moments and places will stay forever in my memory!

The blood moon rises - magical, unexpected moment during night shooting in area known as Nordgruvefeltet.- old mining grounds area near Roros in middle Norway. I don't know how about You but I have many different thoughts when watching at this shot...
<><><><><><><><><><><><><>
Nordgruvefeltet night shooting and view on the sma moon as above - but little later in the night. Long exposure on the river Orva in the valley, fantastic misty, foggy and very calm night. This time of the year we can use the magic of blue hour whole night!
<><><><><><><><><><><><><>
Going back to town - Kristiansten Festning - old fortress in the middle of Trondheim on the hills above Nidelva river. Just right after sunset blue light appeared. Winter time is great for shooting "blue" - white snow is a great material which reflect the blue tones on surrounding. But the blue hour time is much shorter than an hour...

Going back to Scotland - after shooting amazing sunset at Elgol beach, we came back to car waiting for us on a parking place in small harbor. Isle of Skye of course ;) - the most magical location in Highlands.
<><><><><><><><><><><><><>
Elgol beach sea shore and view on the fishing boats by the harbor. The location is great not only because of the grat view over sea but also because of many amazing rock formations we can find there.
<><><><><><><><><><><><><>
At the end of this set - the photo showing the end of a great day outdoor in norwegian Sylan mountains. One of many lakes, one of many places... autumnal photo workshops with good friends. Picture was taken from a paddle boat, in which we were crossing the lake to our camping place.
