Behind The Photo - Lightpainting with children
Turn off the lights in the room, give a child a torch or flash light or anything that lights up and it won't be long until they are trying to move it around fast enough that it tricks the eye into seeing patterns of light.
The photography art form called light painting captures this. The art work can be finished in seconds so it's great for short attention spans and can help develop an early understanding of how to get creative with a torch and a camera.
My son enjoyed it from the first moment and got quickly focused to do some special moves, but you can also let the children experiment with the camera even if they are not familiar with it yet. This is the very first result, where my nearly 5 year old son, did the lightpainting and the camera settings all by himself. I´m totally faszinated by it and I couldn´t be prouder.
If you'd like to see more light painting on Steemit then give @lightpaintershub "Lightpainters United" a follow and you'll be introduced into the wonderful world of light painting.
This is my entry into the below contest and all the best to everyone who enters. Go and check it out :)
