Street Photograph - Amsterdam Couch Lift

In Amsterdam, the buildings angle slightly towards the street. Jetting out from each roof is a pulley cleat so residents can hoist their furniture into their homes.  Another brilliant invention from the Dutch, created 100s of years ago.
