Krui Pade
A traditional technique for separating paddy seeds containing rice and does not contain. Techniques that rely on natural aids from the wind. Usually done by women, we call this work are krui pade.
Paddy that contains rice has a weight, while paddy that does not contain is easily blown by the wind because it has no weight or light load.
The wind will separate the both when poured from the pouring container. The pouring used is situek (Acehnese) that is the midrib of dried areca palm leaves.

Touching photos @vannour. I believe this technique hs been more generations around than we can think of, with many variations throughout the world.
Great colors and a great story in the picture. You get a feeling for this woman and you took a great picture of her and at the same time show the method well.
Hi
Can I ask how many kilograms of rice do they process per day?
Probably there are some automatic devices for this work ...
