Apareamiento de Leones..
Mientras hacia el recorrido en el zoológico de Santa fe, nos detuvimos a ver los leones y observamos como el león comenzó a morder a la leona y entendí que podría suceder algo grandioso y poco después se puede ver como los leones se aparean es algo muy hermoso en la naturaleza ya que de esta forma se podrá preservar su especie.
Los machos usan su melena para aparentar ser mas grandes que sus enemigos. Debido a que esta se encuentra principalmente alrededor de su cabeza y cuello, le permite protegerse de los fieros ataques de otros machos cuando compiten por hembras de su manada.
Cuando el leon posee este pelajemas denso y oscuro resulta ser mas atractivo para sus hembras, esto suele relacionarse como simbolo de un ejemplar que goza de muy buena salud.

Dieta: Carnivoro grandes mamiferos
Amenazas: Destrucción de su hábitat, caza ilegal.
