RE: A stunning sculpture transcends the limits of creativity

in #photo7 years ago

This is really amazing, but please do the artist justice and include her name.
Hint: Chinese artist/sculptor Luo Li Rong.
Too many users here share amazing works of art and earn money through their posts, but don't give credit where credit is due.

@steemcleaners should take a look! He even claims this to be originalworks, something that is meant for original content someone created by himselves. But the bot can't search for stolen images.

When someone asked in the comments, how long it took to make this art, he just replied: "Thank you!" Obviously trying to hide, that he isn't the creator.

yes you're right, definitely shady. I don't want to become a police but i see this on steemit on a daily basis, and I've seen much worse too - where users actually claimed that they made the art even when its clear they didn't, a quick search on google can prove that. Meanwhile they made so much money because other naive people upvoted them without checking the integrity of the post maker.

I guess it has nothing to do with playing police, but there are some minimum standards, that are crucial for steemit to succeed. If it turns into a platform, where people get rewarded for the work they stole from others, it would really harm the whole community. For that reason there is a group called "steemcleaners", that you should mention, whenever you see this kind of abuse. They will take care of it.
Posting some artwork you like and adding your own inside while linking to the source is absolutely ok, though.
