I love his works and yeah most people nowadays are owned by technology in a way or another. That's sad but true and isn't steemit ultimate goal too? Wanting us to be here commenting, upvoting at different times of the day etc. Well at least we make some bucks here.

Exactly, technology is evolving and we are trying to keep up with it, but the reality is that we are so dependent that we need it to "survive".
I wouldn´t say better, Steemit is another social media that "owns" us, but at least we can take some money out and improve our lifes in the real world. This image circulating in social media has a certain joke, so much hypocrisy (just like me) :D
