Making your life better-Viewing your life from third person perspective.

Living Concept

This idea of viewing your life from a third-person perspective is a thought which can make our lives better in many ways, such as how we speak to people, how we act in situations or how we even think.
So where did this idea derived from?
This idea came from a question which people ask many times which is
"How do we make society a better place?"
First, let us break it down to the pieces of what makes a society.
A society is basically made up of individuals which get together, interact, form ideas, generate systems and so on.
So to make a society better you have to go straight to what makes it.
This idea focus more on how to improve ourselves first.

Obviously, we all know humans are not perfect. We have many thoughts, opinions, emotions, and actions that we experience every day. These are part of us and we cannot get rid of them. They impact our lives in different ways.
So let us dig deeper.
Think about what makes you act a certain way throughout the day.
Is it your mood or the environment?
Maybe you feel excited about an upcoming event so you have a lot of energy which you then transfer into acting "foolish".
You might be upset about something which then makes you act aggressively towards people or makes you ignore them.
A great example would be, being hungry. As a result of this we might be annoyed and act in a rude manner.
So how might we combat these actions that can cause negative outcomes?
Try this for a day or a few hours, you choose.
Visualize yourself from a third-person perspective, maybe like every ten minutes through the day.
Pay attention to your actions, words, emotions and even what goes in your mind.
In addition, to make this more effective set some goals.
For example, trying to be as polite as possible to everyone.
By looking at how you act or think, you will be able to study yourself and recognize your life.
This will lead to being able to change how you act in certain events or changing the thoughts that are in your mind at the moment.
You can understand why you might be happy, excited, upset, or annoyed and then you can control those feelings or thoughts.
All of this obviously takes a lot of mental energy but with practice, it can get easier and lead to improvement within your life.
So ultimately, if all individuals have this ideal mindset as a tool. A better society might transpire.

Making an effort to view oneself from another's perspective is always a great idea. I completely agree that an increase in people taking the time to consider others and their feelings would definitely improve things. Good post.

Yes, it is. I have been practicing it very often and I've seen so many new results within myself. It lets you understand the person you are. This gives you the ability to change to what you want to be.

I do, at times, try it myself ... when I can stay in the moment! :-)
