This is really the only path to take if you want to succeed in anything on Steem. You voice your opinions and the people on the other side will learn about them. I think that should be the ultimate goal. There is absolutely no reason to become enemies with them.
Being offensive to those people, or going on the offensive against them further then its necessary to get your message across is pointless.
You can make enemies if you wish, but would you rather want that other guy that you disagree with understand your point of view, since you did interact? I can guarantee that other person wont care in the slightest if you start spamming and insulting him/her.
Strong arguments, diplomatic rhetoric changes things, affects opinions... "you are stupid, everybody hates you"... changes nothing for the positive.
