Rationality and Suicide

in #philosophy7 years ago

I don't want to be a party pooper but i have to share my perspective on suicide.

In a rational perspective everything humans do is emergence of attempting to be an immortal.

Universe is getting colder and there will be an heat death and it will get to its permanent silent condition.

Atoms will break down to its particles. Whatever happens to highly radioactive unstable elements now will be happening to everysingle atom in the Universe.

Various interpretations of being immortal such as reproducing ,leaving a legacy etc. will be diminished with all civilizations ever existed in the Universe.

If anything you do will be broken down into its slowest pieces and die forever in coldness, does it worth living if we look in a rational perspective?

I conclude if we could be %100 rational there would be only one solution: suicide. I think balance of rationality and irrationality keeps us move on to fulfill our true selves.

In addition, there might be some solution to heat death of the universe at future we are not aware of just yet.
