Imagine you are the only person in the world
Imagine everyone you see, everyone you interact with were just props, put here to test you
There'd be no point taking any of it seriously
No point worrying about what others think of you or judging them for what they do.
There'd be no point getting angry or hurt by their actions or words.
They're not real
Why would you bother to flatter and fawn over a dummy?
That's would be extremely silly
Imagine if your creator was watching you, every micro second of every day.
Imagine you had his complete and undivided attention.
Imagine that your creator was pure love and all that love was directed at you.
Imagine you were in the greatest of danger, you were mortally wounded and slowly dying
Imagine if he sacrificed the only thing he truly cared about because he couldn't bear for you to die.
Imagine that he had to suffer the greatest pain just for you to be able to live
Imagine he did this because he wanted so much for you to be with him in paradise
Imagine you chose to ignore him
Imagine you constantly did things which caused him grief
Imagine you made extreme efforts to flatter and fawn over the soulless props around you who could never love you , and you never once looked to your creator but preferred instead to try and gain favour from them.
Imagine every time he tried to help you, you pushed him away and tried to do it yourself
Imagine he'd given you the whole world, it all belonged to you.
Imagine you never thanked him for anything but took it all for granted
Imagine you were full of pride and self righteousness, arrogance and vanity
Imagine he loved you all the same
Imagine he was constantly setting up situations to help you to learn, trying to make you see.
You were given countless opportunities, but you refused to hear the voice of wisdom, preferring to do it your way.
Imagine your stay here on earth was only very brief
The blink of an eye
Imagine if your mortal body got old and died and your spirit was set free
Imagine you were lost and couldn't return to the source of love because you'd refused to take heed when you had the chance
Imagine you now saw the truth of all this
That you had always been the only one, everything else was all a deception.
How would you feel when you realised all your opinions, all your views, beliefs meant absolutely nothing
That you were talking to yourself and all the people you tried to impress and made a fool of yourself over didn't even exist
How would you feel knowing that everything could've been so different had you been brave enough to look where you'd feared to.
Surely one would live their lives very differently if they knew this to be true.
They'd have to be insane not to.
But it is true
This is exactly how it is
Incomprehensible to the mortal mind, but true nevertheless.
