About Michael Platini & The Painting Is Unsold

in #philosophy7 years ago (edited)

A painter will continue to create the paintings as long as he lives. Same with the footballer who will keep kicking the ball while he is still alive. Both will stop when his hands are unable to paint again (painter), and his legs can not afford to run again (footballer).

In his life, an ordinary painter would pretty much rely on his life from the painting he made. In a way, painters will work while creating and creating. However, of the many paintings made by the painter, sometimes there are some paintings that do not sell in the market.

As for the unfounded paintings sold on the market, there was the name of Vincent William van Gogh, the famous post-impressionist painter from the Netherlands. Today, no one doubts the work of Van Gogh. The works he made, such as The Starry Night or The Potato Eaters, were referred to by art observers as works that transcended his time.

However, when Van Gogh was alive, he did not enjoy the fruits of his paintings. A total of 2,100 paintings he created during his lifetime, only one was successfully sold by his brother, Theo van Gogh. Theo was the most persistent man in selling Vincent's paintings to audiences, before the struggle was over and finally passed on by his wife, Johanna Bonger.

The story of Van Gogh, who was poverty-stricken when he lived (he was even treated at a mental hospital in Saint-Remy, France, as a mental disorder) is a mirror that a painter, as good as any of his paintings, when his paintings are not sold in the market.

Footballer was almost the same as a painter. He could have a capable footballing ability, an above-average technical ability, which made him like a painter on a dancing pitch on a green canvas in the form of a football pitch.

The results of the stroke was sometimes cause click amazed many people who watch. Unexpected bait, the ball of a god-god, or a thunderous kick that makes the whole stadium stand up and applaud applause.

However, almost the same as a painter whose paintings sometimes do not sell, often all the strokes of footballers' paintings on the field did not produce something desirable as well as a sign that the game is sold, which is a trophy.

This is what happened to a Michel Platini, a figure of origin who originally used to play in France used to operate in midfield as attacking midfielder.

Michel Platini, Painter from France

France is already known as the birthplace of world-renowned artists and philosophers. In addition, France is also the birthplace of a football player named Michel Platini.

Platini was born on June 21, 1955 in an area called Joeuf, France. He was born of an old man with Italian blood. The combination of Italian blood and the birthplace of France, two countries with a strong artistic culture, made Platini a soul of art in the football he played.

Usually playing in a position as an attacking midfielder, making Platini develop into a painter reliably in the green field (read: players). His baits, his way of tricking the opposing players, as well as the goals he scored for the team he defended, like the painters streak on the gridiron.

As well as Van Gogh and Pablo Picasso who often move places to sharpen his artistic ability, Platini did the same. After a splash in France with AS Nancy and St. Etienne, he tried his luck in Italy with Juventus. Had collided with the Italian football culture that is different from the French, precisely there he developed his football skills to be even better.

In the European region, the results of the painting Platini earned recognition and counted enough sold. In France, he earned the title of Ligue 1, Ligue 2, and Coupe de France. In Italy, he earned a Serie A and Coppa Italia title. Champions League title he managed to get when defending Juventus, as well as the European Cup title he got in 1984 with the French national team.

However, like Van Gogh, there was a time when Platini's paintings were not sold. It happened in the 1982 World Cup in Spain and the 1986 World Cup in Mexico. Two moments that, became a time when the painting Platini lost competitiveness in the market.

World Cup 1982 & 1986, a Market Conquered By Platini

Van Gogh, although he was lined up as a famous painter, had felt bitter when the paintings he created did not sell as he lived. Platini, with all the extraordinary abilities as a footballer, also had time to feel his paintings are not sold in the market. It happened during the 1982 and 1986 World Cups.

In the French team, Platini is known as the brain of Carre Magique. Carre Magique itself is a term to call the four players in the French midfield who at that time became the motor of the beautiful game of Les Bleus. They are Alain Giresse, Luis Fernandez, Jean Tigana, and Michel Platini.

Among the four players, Platini became the central figure. His ability as a green field artist slightly above his colleagues made him the brain of Carre Magique, the creator of artistic painting in the form of a beautiful game on the field.

However, at the 1982 and 1986 World Cups, the results of Platini's paintings, assisted by his colleagues at Carre Magique, failed to sell their paintings on the market. Total in two World Cup, France only managed to reach the semifinal round only. They failed to become champions, and uniquely, there was one artist that they were hard to beat in the two World Cup events: West Germany.

At the 1982 World Cup, they had to lose to West Germany in the semi-finals on penalties, peppered with a collision between Harald Schumacher and Patrick Battiston. At the 1986 World Cup, West Germany again beat France 2-0 in the normal round by two goals from Andreas Brehme and Rudi Voeller.

In the World Cup, Platini failed to sell his best paintings. Uniquely, West Germany is the booster of the failure of Platini sell his best paintings to the world (read: won trophies).

**

Thanks to the struggle of Johanna Bonger, Van Gogh's paintings that initially did not sell on the market slowly began to sell and made the name of Van Gogh, who had died, became known to the world.

Another thing with Van Gogh's fate, Platini's failure to sell his paintings to the world has become a flaw in his career as a green field artist. Although at the European level he reaps success, he can not talk much with other artists when competing at world level.

This defect will continue to be recorded in his memory, and perhaps, will be remembered abruptly as he mourns his fate which must be subject to FIFA law due to involvement in corruption cases that dragged former FIFA president Sepp Blatter.
