The Demigods of India - feared and worshiped by millions of people
There are many, many Demigods in Hindu filosofy. It's said that there are around 33.000.000! That's a lot. There is a Demigod or Demigoddess for every aspect of the physical and non physical creation.
I understand that some may take offence because they are worshiping lord Shiva or Kali as there Supreme Personality of Godhead. The view on the Demigods below, is the view, that of the Chaitanya Vaishnava, tradition. The Hare Krishna's do not worship demigods, they only worship Krishna.
Some of the most worshiped Hindu Demigods are Lord Shiva, Lord Brahma, Durga, Kali, Lord Ganesha.
Lord Shiva
Quote by Srila Prabhupada
Brahma is said to be the highest living entity within the universe, and Lord Shiva’s position is higher than that of Lord Brahma.
Brahma is the creator of this universe, every universe has a different Brahma, some have 2 heads, some 3 or more. The duration of one day for Brahma's takes trillions upon trillions of years as we know them. But he does not live forever, he dies, just like us.
Durga or Parvati, is the wife of Lord Shiva. She can create, maintain and annihilate any universe.
We live, according to the Hindu calendar, in the age of kali yuga. Kali rules over maya. Maya in sanskrit is ma=not, ya=this. She controls time. She is fearsome, and worshiped by many hindu's, for material things.
Ganesha is best-known and widely worshipped in the Hindu tradition. Ganesha is the remover of spiritual and material obstacles.

Hare Krsna great stuff
I am a
Hindu
and I knows that,There are only
33 Gods
not33 Million
The number 33 comes from the number of demi gods explained by Yajnavalkya in Brhadaranyaka Upanishad – the eight Vasus, the eleven Rudras, the twelve Adityas, Indra and Prajapati. (Chapter I, hymn 9, verse 2)
I made A mistake in my text and changed it to 33.000.000. Sorry my wrong. (Sri Brahma Samhita)
Thanks for you response!
Many gods create balance to the scales of creation and destruction. Many gods are the way of all vibration as there are many octaves to the universes creation.
There are many 'good vibes'.
I myself am partial to the Egyptian Gods, I find them fascinating.
And the pyramids all around the world? Such amazement!
I Agree :-)
