📷: Sanuk goes to Manila Ocean Park Part 2
Last October, someone came to the office to sell discounted tickets for a trip to the Manila Ocean Park. Since I haven’t tried this oceanarium yet, I decided to take advantage of this ticket sale.
The Manila Ocean Park is an oceanarium in Manila, Philippines. It is owned by China Oceanis Philippines Inc., a subsidiary of China Oceanis Inc., a Singaporean-registered firm. It is located behind the Quirino Grandstand at Rizal Park
It opened way back March 2008.
So I got this ticket which includes:
-Oceanarium
-Sharks and Rays Dry Encounter
-Sea Lion Show
-Jellies Exhibit
-Creepy Crawlies
-Symphony Evening Show
So we're done with the 2 sea lions Vincent and Sandra..

Second Stop: World of Creepy Crawlies
I'm not scared, but I just don't like snakes. I thought of getting one as a pet before, but my mom doesn't want, even just the small ones. Here in the Philippines, for some superstitious belief that if you have a business get a pet snake as it brings good luck. Here are some pictures of the snake here in this section, most of them are rat snakes and milk snakes.
This one is the biggest of them all, an Albino Python if i can remember it right. I wonder what are they feeding this one. I think its body is the same of an adult's thighs. Imagine how heavy this snake is.
There's also some turtles in here:

These cute frogs:
However, these cute frogs are called Poison Dart Frogs. Did some google searching and found out that
The frogs' poison is found in their skin, making them too toxic to touch. While most species are considered toxic but not deadly, they are distasteful to a predator and can even be fatal. The poison can cause serious swelling, nausea, and muscular paralysis.
Yikes! So moving on, here are the non cute frogs:
This one is sticked to the glass, amazing!
Here's the top view:
This one looks like a dressed chicken! Excuse me for those who are eating! Lol
Here in the Philippines, frog is a native delicacy, not the frogs I posted but the frogs that are caught in the rice fields. I was able to taste one and it just tastes like chicken!
Moving on to my favorite part of this section, the reptiles!
Karma, karma chameleon 🎜 🎝 ♩
Iguana's and some lizards that I forgot what kind :D
and these are my favorite models!
are you thinking what i'm thinking when I saw this?
and he (or she) got tired or maybe shy.
Thanks for putting up with me once again, part 3 will be posted soon.
I really enjoyed this day, feel like I'm a kid again. Lol.
I learned about different species, saw some animals that i won't be able to see in my everyday life.
unless you work in a zoo or a place like this.
still practicing my #smartphonephotography
(help me steemit get a new phone for better quality photos haha)
