Congratulations UEP, My Alma Matter: Produces Thousands of Graduates in its Centennial Year

University of Eastern Philippines is a state university located in the province of Northern Samar, particularly in the municipality of Catarman. By Virtue of RA 4126 the said university was created and is said to be the first state university in Eastern Visayas Region in the Philippines.

In commemoration of its Centennial Celebration, the University of Eastern Philippines celebrated the 57th Commencement Exercises and is said to be the Last Class of the Century for UEP will be turning in its 100 years this coming June.

This University was also the same school where I graduated on my College Degree, even after now that I am in Lawschool my loyalty remains in this University.

As the years went by, UEP produces thousands of achievers, as what is being said in the school motto Molding characters, producing life winners Lots of successful individuals in the province and even in other places came in this university. This is because UEP has a good quality of education that can boast to everyone.

Just yesterday, when another batch of students finished their studies. Of morethan 2,000 graduates in 8 differents colleges consisting of morethan 30 courses offers, 250 of which were graduated with latin awards and having a Summa Cumlaude for the fourth time in history of my alma matter as the top /valedictorian in the last class of the century.

The University is indeed an institution that help molds and shapes many lifes. Successful Engineers, lawyers, nurses, teachers, accountants, criminologists, etc came in this school. Few years from now, these individuals standing infront of this amphiteater will become great leaders of the country after receiving their diplomas as sign of their modest achievement.

For everyones felicities, Congratulations graduates and to the proud parents. We should always keep dreaming, keep believing on it and have faith with it higher than the knowledge we acquired for nothing is impossible with the guidance of our Almighty creature.
