SINULOG IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER! | Sinulog shirts are now starting to rise in Cebu, Philippines
Sinulog is just around the corner. And I mean that literally!
Check out this shirt store along Osmeña Boulevard, adjacent to Cebu Normal University just along the corner of Abellana National School
What about the Store
I asked the clerk who was just by the array of shirts a little about their small business. He said they are "lumad" Cebuanos simply trying to do business in Cebu. They have been in the market for around 5 years already and travel to different places selling shirts of all different events. This includes Scout Jamborees, Provincial Festivals and Personalized shirts. He was very enthusiastic to say that Sinulog may be the biggest means for their business to make the greatest income.
A new trend
Aside from the Street Festivals, wearing Sinulog shirts has always been one of the modern additions of the Cultural Festival. These shirts usually come in different hand cut designs:
Female Designs
Male Designs
Great stuff right?!
If you want to know how to create one of these, stay tuned for an in depth tutorial in making these trending wears for the Festival!
About Sinulog Festival
Sinulog started as a Religious Festival which honors the Blessed Senyor Sto. Niño, a patron saint for many Cebuanos.

Through the years, it has evolved into a Cultural event which continues to attract tourists with its famous Street Parties. Thus, the trend of wearing these classy shirts became a vital part in celebrating Sinulog!
