Meatless meal doesn't need to be boring.

Happy Thursday, Steemians! :)

I've been a vegetarian for two years and now slowly shifting to a plant-based diet.

I had an appointment with a lifestyle medicine doctor last March who recommended The Power Plate (TPP). It's basically including fruits, legumes, whole grains and vegetables in every meal.

The plate below is something close to TPP. Some modifications could be made like using red or brown rice instead of white, adding fruits and frying everything with water. Yes, you read that right. You can fry with water. :) Cooking meatless meals is never boring.

Let's eat!!!

Where did u get the moringa powder?

Hi @bayanihan! I bought it at Ayala Serin Walter Mart Tagaytay. Medyo mahirap maghanap. P_20180524_174808_MT.jpg

Thank you. Did the moringa helped with the turmeric taste??

I deliberately put a little amount of moringa to make sure that the rice won't taste bitter. The turmeric rice retained its flavor. :) I'm using moringa for its nutritional value than its taste. Try it @bayanihan, it is good for the body. :)

Turmeric is great for arthritis and it have other nutritional value, it's just the taste, and worst the after-taste that isn't so appealing. Adding bay leaf to rice helps cover the taste.

This is my kind of meal! Simple, full of colours and delicious! Thank you for sharing!

You are welcome! Thanks for dropping by. :) You post delicious meals and smoothies, too. Keep it up! :)

your meal is colorful and healthy

Thanks! I hope to make a vegan sushi someday! :)
