RE: The Spirit of Communal Unity - "Bayanihan", 18th Philippines' Curation Updates

in #philippines7 years ago

@beatenegg had been on a long hiatus after a death in the family. Neither me nor John felt like writing for a while.

This was the nicest welcome back surprise for us. I wrote out of me being tired and not wanting to let the kids know I'm tired.

Thank you, @bayanihan!

@joonz, it was a good investment. Saved me money from laundryshops plus I get to bond with the kids during wash time.

I remember reading In Lilia's Memory. While it was really beautifully written, it was just as heartbreaking. I lost my grandmother years ago, too, and even though I was just 11 back then, I remember the pain like it was yesterday. I felt like I truly understood your thoughts, as written in In Lilia's Memory. ❤ Welcome back, congratulations on the feature, and more beautiful writeups from you! 😊

It will be 40 days of her passing on Sunday. We can't say we're already used to her not around. A couple of family occasions have gone by, and on both times, food were compared to how she would've cooked them had she still been here.
